Tranquillity for Plants

Although we don't recognise plants as having thoughts and feelings as such, we have all heard of a plant going into shock or suffering in some way from changes in its condition or environment. Essences help restore balance and harmony to all living things. Consequently, plants 'behave' or respond to change in a much healthier way when supported with this blend.

Tranquillity for Plants is a blend of Dr Bach's Rescue Remedy and other flower essences, and is specifically designed to minimise the effects of stress, trauma and shock, helping plants stay healthy and vibrant when transplanting and pruning. Cuttings produce fine rootlet hairs quickly when either struck in water or planted directly into soil and watered with Tranquillity. Cut flowers also benefit from a couple sprays in their vase water, helping them retain their vitality and last much longer.

Tranquillity for Plants can be sprayed directly onto plants and cut flowers, although a better result will be achieved by adding it to the water as this feeds the essences internally and has a longer lasting effect. By watering a well-established plant with Tranquillity the day before transplanting, the plant will receive a boost to its 'immune system', and be stronger throughout the process. Add 2 sprays per litre of water and use immediately after transplanting, pruning, or whenever a plant is 'stressed'.

Additional Applications

As well as being the perfect companion for our plants, this blend is also useful when we're looking for a lift in times of low energy. The essences in this blend promote creative activity, vitality, and true staying power with a calm centeredness. If you need a little 'pick-me-up', use Tranquillity for Plants. It's beneficial for mental alertness too.

Customers' Comments

"I use Tranquillity for Plants whenever I plant a seedling, take a cutting for propagation, or before moving a mature plant from one area of the garden to another. I find it significantly reduces trauma. Plants start to produce vigorous growth almost overnight. In the case of mature specimens, instead of drooping they take off immediately, even when there has been significant root disturbance. I have also been known to spray it on myself while I’m gardening, particularly if I think I might have overdone it, and it works for me too.
Happy gardening."
Sophia Free, Bellingen

"I am amazed at the difference your product has on my sprouts! Not only do they grow quicker, the sprouts are larger and healthier and keep their freshness for twice as long. They taste more alive and have a crispiness to them that I've not experienced before."
James Aaron, Oregon

Flower Remedies for Plants

Plants also experience changes in their condition wich can be remedied with flower essences. Finding the remedy that suits your plant is quite simple. Below are a few examples of how some flower remedies individually apply to plants.

Browse through our pages of individual essences and apply the situation or condition to your plants instead if yourself. If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact us.

Rescue Remedy is the first-aid remedy for any kind of stress, trauma or shock, and is used when transplanting, pruning and relocating.

Sweet Pea helps plants that are grown in containers or crowded areas not feel overcrowded. Helps plants make room for each other and 'get along' well together.

Corn helps plants feel connected to the earth's energies and is good for plants grown on balconies or high-rise buildings.

Sunflower is beneficial for plants that don't get enough sunlight, such as indoor plants.

Aloe helps plants stay cool on hot days.

Walnut is the remedy of transition and helps plants that are transplanted or relocated.

Tansy energises plants and promotes growth, and is great for seedlings and lethargic plants.

These are just some examples of how flower essences can also be applied to keeping our plants' energies balanced and in harmony with the changing conditions in their world. Administer the the remedy as soon as the need arises, as using it later will not be as effective.

If you know you are going to have a hot day, for example, give your plants some Aloe, Rescue Remedy and Tansy and they'll survive the heat without being too affected by it. When transplanting a mature and well-established plant, water both the plant and the new area to which it is being planted for a couple of days prior to transplanting and after. To use, simply put a few drops of the flower remedy in the plant's water.
